For the next few years Cecil enjoyed a great deal of success in his hometown with a band called "Southwind," and in 1993 started his first full-length project, "Westside Road." This project was interrupted by a call back to the road with "The Legends of Country Music," an impersonation show based from Vancouver. Cecil's job was to impersonate Hank Williams Jr.
Upon the completion of this nation-wide tour, he returned home where he finished his "Westside Road" project. After its completion, he did a cruise ship tour between Finland and Sweden, introducing his style of music abroad. He was very warmly received by an international audience and his tour was a tremendous success.

Following this, Cecil saw the completion of another project; a Maritime-Artist compact disc production. He also voluntarily undertook putting together a fund-raising benefit show in aid of Ronald MacDonald House.
In spite of a busy agenda, he has still managed to find the time to concentrate on exploring his craft; writing music and lyric. And now, four decades of experience in all aspects of his occupation is manifesting itself in the form of a library of recorded original material, which is being compiled and catalogued at "Cedar Shake Studio" in the city of Halifax, where he remains a fixture in local venues.
